About This Course
Azure Storage is the cloud storage solution for modern applications that rely on durability, availability, and scalability to meet the needs of their customers. It is highly scalable, elastic, globally accessible, and automatically load-balances your data based on traffic. In this course, you will learn about the different types of storage, the configuration options, and the management tools. The course covers virtual machine storage, unstructured storage (blobs), and structured data (tables and queues). We will also touch day to day management tasks such as backup, site recovery, and storage analytics.
Learners should have a general understanding of cloud computing including services and usage models.
Learners should have a good foundation in accessing and using simple Windows PowerShell commands.
Learners should have a basic understanding of Azure services and components, including Azure PowerShell.
Learners may find it helpful to have a general understanding of how storage works in an on-premises environment.
